Part of the Darbar Festival 2017 at the Sadlers Wells. Vocalist Pandit Kaivalya Kumar interprets spiritual evening songs from the North Indian khayal tradition accompanied by Surpreet Deshpande on the tabla and Milind Kulkarni on the harmonium.The virtuoso sitar player Nishat Khan, torch bearer of one of India most renowned musical families who is renowned for his mesmeric performances, is then accompanied by tabla maestro Shahbaz Hus.
